Crescent Public School

You can find Crescent Public School over in Banuri, which is part of the Palampur area in Kangra. It’s a beautiful part of the country, though we mostly just see the school walls and the playground. The school has been part of the Banuri community for a long time now. We have a solid building with several classrooms and a decent yard for the students to run around during their break. Palampur is known for its tea gardens, and you can see some of them not too far from our gate. The weather here is mostly pleasant, but it rains a lot during the monsoon, and we have to make sure the kids don't track too much mud into the halls. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment, but we have enough benches and boards for everyone. The morning assembly is usually when the whole school feels connected. After that, it’s just the sound of teachers talking and students answering back. We handle everything from the basic lessons to the older grades. It’s a straightforward operation. The staff room is usually a bit messy with stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. Most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a quick bus ride to get here. We aren't trying to be the most modern school in the state; we just want to provide a place where the local kids can come and learn their subjects every day.
