Vee Kay Eee Exports

Vee Kay Eee Exports is tucked away at 2/10 Bharathiyar Street in Ambal Nagar. If you know Ekkatuthangal, you know it’s a busy hub with lots of small units like ours. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small office squeezed together. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking boxes. Exporting sounds like a big job, but for us, it’s just moving items from one place to another and making sure the labels are right. The street is narrow, so when a truck comes, everyone has to move their bikes. It can be a bit of a headache, but that’s the way it works here. We don't have a fancy reception area. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the middle of whatever we’re doing. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some chairs that have seen better days. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, but we know where everything is even in the dark. It’s a practical setup. We don’t spend money on things we don’t need. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of tape dispensers and people shouting to be heard over the street noise. We started this because we knew how to handle the logistics of it. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. It is what it is, and we stay focused. That is the way we run things.
