Thiru Murugan College

You can find Thiru Murugan College at number 90 in Ushaa Garden. We are right on the Chennai - Periyapalayam Highway, specifically in the Kannigaipair area of Tiruvallur. Being on the highway means we get a lot of students who commute in from the surrounding towns and villages. The college has a fair amount of space, and it feels quite open because of the garden area, though it’s more of a functional space than a fancy park. The buildings are painted a simple color and they have been there for a good while. Inside, the hallways can be quite cool compared to the heat outside, which is a relief in the middle of a Tamil Nadu afternoon. The classrooms have the standard setup with benches and fans that hum all day long. Students are always rushing between buildings for their next lecture or heading toward the canteen for a break. It is a busy place, but not in a frantic way. It’s more of a steady rhythm that repeats every week. There is a lot of chatter during the breaks, and you can hear the traffic from the highway in the background if you listen closely. We don't have any huge marketing slogans on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where people come to get their degrees and move on with their lives. It's nothing fancy, just a local college doing its thing every day.
