Pbm Higher Secondary School

We have been here on Vallal Pachaiappan Street for a long time now. Most people in Kanchipuram know where No 41 A is because the kids are always coming and going. It gets pretty loud in the mornings when everyone arrives, but that is just how a school day starts. Our rooms aren't fancy, but they work for what we need to do. The teachers here have been around for years. They know the families in the neighborhood. Sometimes the fans make noise and the desks have scratches, but that is part of the history of the place. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the students get through their higher secondary years. It is a busy street, so there is always traffic outside our gates. Inside, we try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic during lunch breaks. We don't have a huge playground, but the kids find space to move around. It's just a regular school where we show up every day and do the work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We just keep going, day after day, helping the local kids with their studies. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it is where we spend all our time. We see the same faces every morning and it feels like a small community. That is basically how things are at Pbm. It’s just us.
