Our office is at No. 1/252 Subhashri Nagar 6th Cross Street in Mugalivakkam. It's a quiet residential street, so we try not to make too much noise. We deal with international trade, mostly moving goods back and forth. There’s a lot of emailing and waiting for replies because of the time differences. Sometimes I’m on the computer late at night talking to someone in another country. It's a small team here. We have some samples of products on the shelves, mostly stuff we are testing or showing to clients. Mugalivakkam has grown a lot lately. Our office is just a part of a house that we converted. It’s cozy but gets cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in. We handle the shipping documents and make sure the customs stuff is sorted out. It’s a lot of details. If you miss one number, things get held up at the port. We've learned that the hard way over the years. We aren't a big corporation. Just a local business trying to connect with the world from this little street. We have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how the day went. It's a simple life. We deal with all sorts of things, from textiles to small machinery parts. Every day there is something different to pack or a new form to fill out. It keeps us busy enough, I suppose. We just keep moving forward.
