This is a government medical school, though the name Bharkala is what most people know us by. It’s a busy place with students coming and going at all hours. The building looks like a typical government office from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly labs and lecture rooms. We’ve been here for a while, and the location is very convenient for anyone using public transport since the main road is right there. It’s not a quiet campus, but the students seem used to the bustle of St Thomas Mount. We don’t have much green space, but we make do with what’s available on the property. Staff members are usually preoccupied with their rounds or teaching. It’s an honest, hard-working environment. Nothing is too polished here, just a lot of studying and practical work. People often drop by asking for directions because we are so close to the highway. It’s a functional part of the local medical education scene. The hallways are usually a bit cluttered with posters and old desks, and there is always someone rushing somewhere with a notebook. We don't have much time for fluff, we just keep things running as best as we can every day for all the students enrolled.
