Kcg College Of Technology

Kcg College Of Technology is situated at 40 GST Road in St. Thomas Mount. This is a very busy part of Chennai, and the noise from the road never really stops. We’ve got students coming in from all over, so the campus always feels alive, even if it’s a bit crowded. The buildings are a mix of older sections and some newer parts. It isn't a perfect, polished campus like you see in movies. There are always some repairs going on somewhere, or a classroom that needs a new fan. We spend our days teaching, grading papers, and trying to help the students understand their subjects. It’s a lot of talking and walking between different departments. The faculty room is usually a bit messy with books and tea cups. We don't have a big marketing department telling us what to say. We just show up and do our best to get the students through their exams. The GST Road traffic is something we all complain about daily. Getting into the gate in the morning can be a real struggle. But once you’re inside, there’s a sense of community. We have some trees that provide a little shade, which is nice during the hotter months. It’s just a regular college where people come to learn and move on to their next step in life. We keep things practical and don’t pretend to be something we aren't. It’s a lot of work but seeing students graduate makes it okay.
