Jamna Auto Industries Ltd.

Our plant is out on Plot No 17 to 19 in the Pillaipakkam Sipcot Industrial Park. It’s a big area in Navalur Village, not too far from Sriperumbudur in the Kanchipuram district. Jamna Auto Industries Ltd. is basically a lot of machines and a lot of people making parts for vehicles. It’s loud, it’s hot, and there is always something moving. We’ve been part of this industrial park for a long time. The work is mostly about metal and precision. We don't have a fancy office with carpets. It’s mostly concrete and steel here. The shifts run long, and the trucks are always coming in to pick up what we’ve finished. People from the surrounding villages make up a lot of our crew. It’s a tough job, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't spend much time talking about "vision" or "innovation" in the way people in cities do. We just make sure the leaf springs and other auto parts are built to the right size and strength. If something breaks, we fix it. If a machine stops, we get it going again. The SIPCOT park is a busy place, and we are just one of the shops keeping things moving. It’s been this way for years. We just show up, do the work, and head home to Kanchipuram.
