Lapmaster India Private Limited is situated out at Sur 850/1B4 in Vellakkalvai, right near Mappedu Post. If you're coming through the Perambakkam via route, you’ve probably passed us. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the guys who live further out, but we like the space we have here. We deal with a lot of heavy machinery and finishing tools. The floors get dusty and the machines make a fair bit of noise, but that’s the job. We spend most of our time making sure the surfaces are flat and smooth. It’s precision work, even if the building looks like a standard workshop from the outside. We don’t have a massive reception desk or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find someone in overalls near the back. We've been at this location for some time, and the neighbors know us. The weather gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually start early to get the main work done before the sun hits the roof too hard. We handle a lot of shipments coming in and out. Most of the team has been here for years, so we know how each machine sounds when it's running right. It’s practical work. We don't spend much time on fancy meetings. We just look at the specs and get to work on the metal. It’s a steady pace here in Vellakkalvai and we just keep the machines moving every day.
