Newrama Worldwide

Newrama Worldwide runs its export division out of Newrama House, which is located at 3 Kamber Street Extension in Chellinagar. The building is pretty easy to spot once you get onto the street. It’s a busy place because we are always dealing with shipments going to different places. Inside Newrama House, there are stacks of papers, samples of products, and people constantly on the phone or checking emails. Since it’s an export division, we are often working odd hours to match up with people in different time zones. It isn’t a very fancy setup. We have desks that have seen better days and a lot of filing cabinets. We focus more on getting the paperwork right for the customs and shipping than on how the office looks. Chellinagar is a nice enough area, and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners nearby. Our staff is a small group of people who understand the ins and outs of shipping and logistics. We don't use big corporate buzzwords here. If a shipment is late, we just call the port and find out why. It’s very direct. We have coffee together in the mornings and then just dive into the day’s tasks. There’s always something to be packed or a document that needs a signature. We just keep things moving as best as we can from our little corner of the world.
