We have been operating out of Ac 31 in Thirumudivakkam for a while now. Being in the Sidco Indl Estate means it gets pretty busy around here with all the trucks coming and going. If you know Chrompet, you know the traffic can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. Most days involve keeping the mixers running and making sure the concrete is actually ready when someone needs it. It’s messy work. You can’t really do this job without getting a bit of dust on your boots. We’ve got the setup here to handle the big batches, and we’ve seen plenty of buildings go up around this part of Chennai using what we mix. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical site where things get done. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the rain starts pouring down and turns the ground into a bit of a bog. We just keep at it. Usually, there’s a lot of shouting to be heard over the machinery, but that is just how a concrete yard operates. People stop by the gate to ask directions or check on their orders. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It is just us here in the estate, focusing on the loads and the timing. We try to keep the trucks moving as fast as the roads allow. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. The cement bags get heavy and the sun can be brutal in the afternoons, but we keep the water running and the drums turning.
