Moulana Azad Model English Medium School

The school is located on the Kamalapur Warnal Road, out here in the Kamalapur area. If you are driving from the main part of Gulbarga, it is not too hard to find us once you get onto the main stretch of the road. The building itself is quite plain, just a bunch of rooms organized around the main corridor. We have the English medium classes going on throughout the day for the local kids. Usually, the wind blows quite a bit of dust from the road into the yard, so we are always sweeping the floors to keep the place tidy for the students. There is a small gate at the entrance and a bit of open ground where the kids play during their lunch break. It is not a huge space, but it works for what we need. Most of the teachers live nearby and walk to work, while some of the older kids come on their bicycles. We do not have any big flashy signs, just the school name on the front. Inside the office, we have rows of cupboards filled with old files and student records that we have collected over the years. It gets pretty warm in the summer months, so we make sure the fans are always running. The morning assembly happens right out front if the weather is nice enough. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure everyone follows the schedule. It is a quiet life.
