Running a school in Yadgir like Jagalingeshwara Primary & High School means we are deeply connected to the local families here. We handle everything from the very small children just starting out in primary to the older ones in high school who are almost ready to go out into the world. It is a big responsibility. Our building is a busy place from early morning until the final bell rings in the afternoon. We do not have a lot of fancy extras, but we have enough classrooms and teachers who actually care about whether the students are learning or not. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of kids reciting lessons or playing during their breaks. Yadgir is a place where people value education, and we try to provide that in a straightforward way. We deal with the usual school problems like lost sweaters, dusty playgrounds, and the occasional scraped knee. It is not a corporate operation; it’s more of a community effort. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about their children's progress and making sure everyone is on the same page. The high schoolers are always a bit more of a handful than the little ones, but that is expected. We just keep our heads down and do the work of keeping the school running smoothly every single day for the local kids who depend on us.
