Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School

Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School is located over in Annapurneshwari Colony, right on Kusnoor Road in Gulbarga. Most people around here just know us as the school near the main turn. It is a pretty straightforward place with several wings for different classes. The mornings are usually the loudest time because of the buses and parents dropping kids off at the gate. We have a decent-sized playground where the students spend their breaks, and you can hear the whistles from the PE teachers all the way to the street. The office is right at the front, and it's always got someone waiting for a form or to pay fees. We’ve been at this spot for quite some years now. The trees we planted a while back are finally giving some shade in the courtyard. It gets quite dusty on Kusnoor Road during the summer months, but inside the gates, it’s a bit quieter. Our staff is mostly local folks who have been with us through many batches of students. We don’t go for anything too flashy; it’s just plain classrooms, blackboards, and desks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows wide to catch a breeze. It is just a regular school life here, and it's been like that for as long as I can remember. You’ll see the kids in their uniforms walking down the road in groups after the final bell rings. We just keep things running day to day without much fuss.
