Satyam Art & Antiques

Satyam Art & Antiques is located at 17-E-832, inside the Chopasani Housing Board. Our place is usually filled with all sorts of old things we’ve collected over the years. It’s not a polished gallery with spotlights. It’s more like a very full storage room where you have to be careful where you step. We deal with antiques and art, but we aren't fancy about it. We like the history behind the items we find. The housing board area is a normal, everyday neighborhood, so we don’t feel like we’re in some high-end district. Neighbors often see us moving old furniture or crates of artifacts. We don't have a team of people to handle our public relations. We just talk to people who share our interest in old objects. Sometimes things get a bit dusty, and it takes us a while to find exactly what we’re looking for in the piles. We don't use a lot of promotional language because we think the pieces speak for themselves. We’re just here to keep track of them and find them new homes. It’s a slow and steady kind of work. We aren't in a rush to become a big name. We just like what we do and we like being here in Chopasani. It’s a quiet life spent with things from the past. That’s really all there is to our story. It keeps us quite busy.
