Kirti Creations

Kirti Creations is located in a quiet corner of Bagar Chowk, near the Nagori Gate and Ramdev Villas. This part of the city, Bambore Darjiyan, is full of small workshops like ours. We work out of a modest room that is usually overflowing with different types of cloth and thread. It’s not a shop where things are displayed behind glass. It’s a place where things are actually made. We spend most of our hours at the machines or cutting fabric on the floor. It can get a bit messy with all the scraps of material laying around, but we clean up every evening. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one so people know they’ve found the right place. Our customers are mostly locals or people who have heard about us from their friends. We don't do any advertising at all. We just focus on the work in front of us. Some days are very quiet, and other days we have more work than we can handle. We just take it as it comes. It’s a very simple life here in the old city. We know all the neighbors and often talk to them while we work. We aren't a big company with lots of rules. It’s just us making things with our hands and trying to do a decent job of it. That’s how we’ve always done it.
