Sab Art Export

Being located right on Station Road means there is never a quiet moment here. Sab Art Export is right in the middle of all that activity. You can hear the trains coming and going all day long, and the street outside is always full of people rushing to catch their ride. We spend most of our time in the back room where we pack up the different art pieces. It’s a lot of cardboard, tape, and bubble wrap everywhere. Sometimes the tea boy comes by and we take a quick break, but usually, we are busy checking the lists and making sure everything is ready for the trucks. The building itself is old and has those high ceilings that keep it a bit cooler, which is nice during the summer months. We’ve been at this location for years, so the neighbors all know us. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the dust from the road, but we try to sweep up at the end of every day. We don't have a big showroom or anything. Most of our work is about getting the items safely into boxes and out to where they need to go. It’s a practical way to run things. We focus on the daily tasks and try to stay ahead of the schedule. Dealing with exports means there’s always some paperwork to finish before the sun goes down.
