S M Overseas

S M Overseas is tucked away in the Basni 1St Phase area, specifically over in Romeshwar Nagar. We’re at D-18. It’s a pretty standard industrial part of town, so there’s always something going on with trucks and workers moving about. We’ve been here for a while, and the building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and fits all our equipment just fine. We mostly handle export and import stuff, which keeps us pretty busy with all the paperwork and coordination. It’s not always easy keeping everything straight, but we manage. The street can get a bit muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a pain for the visitors, but we’re used to it. We aren't some big multinational with a glass lobby. It’s just us in a workshop-style setting. We spend a lot of our time looking at shipping schedules and talking to people overseas on the phone. Sometimes the time zones make it a bit tricky, staying late or coming in early. But that’s the nature of the business. We’ve grown a bit over the years, though we still feel like a small local outfit at heart. Most of the people working here live nearby in Romeshwar Nagar, so it’s a local crowd. We just keep doing what we know, day in and day out. There isn't much more to it than that, really. Just work.
