Raghu Diamonds

We are based at C-51 in Shastri Nagar. It is a quiet residential spot, so you would not really expect a diamond business to be here. We do not have a big sign or a storefront with glass windows. It is just a workspace where we handle the stones and talk to our customers. My family has been in this trade for a long time, and we prefer it this way. Dealing with diamonds requires a lot of concentration and good light, so we have big lamps over our desks. We spend hours looking through loupes at the small details that most people never see. It is not like a fancy jewelry shop in a mall. There are no carpets or soft music here. We just have our tools and the stones we are working on. Most people who come to us are friends or people who have known us for years. They trust us because we have been in this same spot for so long. Sometimes we sit and talk for an hour before we even look at any diamonds. It is a slow process, and we do not like to rush things. We keep everything locked up tight, of course, but the atmosphere is very relaxed once you are inside. We just focus on doing a good job with the stones and keeping the business going year after year without any fuss or big advertisements.
