Rakesh Impex

Rakesh Impex is located right on Main Pal Road, and we are quite close to the Pal Balaji Temple. Being on the Highway Road in Paota means there is a lot of dust and noise from the trucks passing by all the time. It is not a fancy office at all. We mostly spend our time dealing with crates and checking through the shipping papers. My brother and I run the place, and we usually have a couple of local guys helping us with the heavy stuff. The heat in the afternoon can be really tough, so we try to get most of the loading done while it is still a bit cool in the morning. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because most people just see our sign from the road or hear about us from other traders. It is a very basic operation. We have a small desk where we keep the ledger and the phone. Sometimes travelers stop by thinking we sell snacks because we are near the temple, and we have to tell them we just handle imports and exports. It is a bit funny sometimes. We have been at this location for several years now. The temple bells are a nice sound to hear in the evenings when things finally start to quiet down. It is just a regular job for us and it keeps the family fed.
