Padma Exports

We’ve been over here on Chopsani Road for a while now. The office is in the Commercial Complex, specifically units 39 and 40. It’s usually pretty busy with boxes coming in and going out. Most days, we’re just making sure everything is packed right and the paperwork is sorted. Exports can be a bit of a headache with all the rules, but we’ve got a system that works for us. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the traffic on the road gets a bit loud, especially in the afternoons. We handle a variety of items that need to go overseas. It’s mostly about keeping track of the inventory and making sure the trucks arrive on time. The staff here knows the routine by heart. We don’t really do much advertising, people usually find us through word of mouth or just seeing the sign when they pass by the C.H.B area. It’s a straightforward operation. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents. If you come by, you’ll probably see us drinking tea while checking over some manifests. It’s a lot of coordination, really. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when a big shipment comes, the whole floor gets covered in bubble wrap and tape. That’s just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve stayed in this same spot because it’s convenient for the loaders and we know the neighbors pretty well.
