Noble Art & Craft Home

Noble Art & Craft Home is situated on 8th Street in the second phase of Basni. This part of Jodhpur is always busy with people making things. Our workshop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We have different corners for carving, sanding, and finishing. Most of the time, the floor is covered in wood shavings or bits of metal. We don't really have a sales team. Usually, it’s just the same few of us talking to anyone who stops by. We try to keep things organized, but when several orders are happening at once, it can look a bit chaotic. That’s just the nature of craft work, I suppose. The sun gets really hot here in Rajasthan, so we do our best work in the early hours before the afternoon heat hits. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the raw materials and turn them into something else that people can use. Sometimes the designs don't come out exactly as planned, so we have to start over or fix them. It's a lot of manual labor and long hours standing up. We like the smell of the workshop though. It feels like we are actually making something real with our hands. People around here know us as the place that’s always got something being hammered or painted. It’s a noisy place but we enjoy the work.
