Mukti Art Exports

Our place is at A-184 in Shastri Nagar, not too far from Lachoo College. It’s a busy area and we’ve got a fair amount of space here for all the art pieces we handle. Since we deal with exports, there are always crates and packing materials sitting around. It’s not a gallery where everything is perfectly lit. It’s more of a warehouse feel where things are being packed up to go somewhere else. We spend a lot of time wrapping things in bubble wrap and making sure they’re secure in their boxes. Sometimes the courtyard gets full of trucks loading up, and it can be a bit of a mess for a few hours. We’ve got a small team that has been working together for a long time. We know the local rhythms of Shastri Nagar pretty well by now. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved in a corner with a lot of paperwork piled up. We don't use fancy software or anything; we mostly just keep track of things the old-fashioned way. It’s a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but we don't mind it. We just focus on the items we’re sending out and making sure they get to the right place. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where the main goal is just to keep the flow of goods moving out the door.
