M.R. Art & Crafts

We’re based out in Udyog Nagar, specifically at 34, Road No. 10, in the Second Phase of Basni. Being in an industrial area like Basni means it’s always loud and dusty outside. M.R. Art & Crafts is a busy little workshop. We have a lot of tools scattered around and half-finished pieces sitting on the workbenches. It’s the kind of place where you’re likely to get some sawdust or paint on your clothes if you aren't careful. We don't have a fancy showroom; it’s mostly just where the making happens. The sun hits the front windows pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, but we have a couple of big fans that help. We make all sorts of things here, and every day is a bit different depending on what’s being worked on. Some days it’s wood, other days it’s different materials. We have a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the time is spent on our feet. The guys here have been doing this a long time and they don't talk much while they’re working, they just get on with it. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it’s a bit messy. We’re just a regular part of the industrial landscape here in Basni. The neighbors are mostly other small manufacturers and workshops. We usually shut the gates once the sun starts going down.
