We are based out of F-73 in the Basni 1st Phase Industrial Area. M. M. Handicrafts Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for quite a while. Basni is a busy industrial zone, and there is always a lot of activity with trucks and workers everywhere. Our place is essentially a big workshop. It is filled with the smell of wood and the sound of tools. We do handicrafts, which means a lot of manual labor. It is not the kind of work you can do without getting your hands dirty. We have rows of workbenches where the artisans do their thing. It can get quite hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a polished office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s a functional space designed for making things. We store a lot of raw materials in the back, and the front area is usually cluttered with finished items waiting to be packed. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just want to make things that look right and get them to the people who ordered them. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just rely on the work we do here every day. It’s a steady rhythm of cutting, carving, and finishing. Most of the people here have been doing this for most of their lives. It’s just what we do and how we live.
