Gems & Art Plaza

We are located on Circuit House Road, not far from Ajit Bhawan in Jodhpur. It’s a pretty well-known part of town. The shop is a mix of gems and various art pieces we’ve picked up over time. It’s not a perfectly organized place; things tend to pile up in the corners when we get new shipments in. We spend a lot of time dust-wiping the shelves because Jodhpur can be quite sandy and windy. The building is solid, and we have a nice front window where we put a few items to catch the light. Most of our day is spent talking to visitors who are staying in the hotels nearby. It’s a relaxed atmosphere here. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. We’re usually just in our everyday clothes, drinking tea and waiting for the next person to walk in. Some of the art pieces are quite heavy, so moving them around for people to see is a bit of a workout. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who work on this road. It feels like a little community. If the shop is empty, we might be out back or chatting with the neighbor next door. We don’t have a big corporate strategy or goals. We just try to find nice things and hope someone else likes them enough to take them home. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps us going every day.
