Freet India Diamond Tools Pvt, Ltd., is based at F-60 in the Mia area, specifically Bansi 1st Phase. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so you see a lot of trucks and workers around all day. We have been working out of this unit for a while, dealing with diamond tools that people use for heavy-duty cutting. It’s not a glamorous job. The floor is usually covered in a fine dust from the materials we handle, and the air smells a bit like cold metal. We have some heavy shelving units that hold all the different blades and grinders. The office is just a small corner with an old desk and a computer that’s seen better days. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing or big presentations. Most people who come to us are looking for something specific that can handle a tough job. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons packing things up for delivery. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the summer, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. It’s a basic setup, but it works for what we do. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few people who know the tools well. We just focus on getting the orders out and making sure the counts are right before the day ends. It is a simple routine that keeps us busy enough.
