Creative Art & Craft

Our place, Creative Art & Craft, is located at E-329(A) in the M.I.A. Iind Phase of Basni. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the layout of the industrial area. The building is tucked between two larger units, so it can be a bit dark inside during the early morning. We use a lot of local materials, so there’s always a pile of something near the entrance waiting to be processed. The floor is made of rough cement and it's covered in scraps and bits of various projects we are working on. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so we just sweep up ourselves at the end of the day. It’s a hands-on kind of environment. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of old chairs and a computer that takes forever to boot up. We spend more time on our feet than sitting down anyway. The noise from the heavy machinery next door is constant, but it becomes like background music after a few months. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. If people want to see what we do, they usually just walk through the work area and look at the stuff on the benches. It’s real and it’s messy, but it’s how we like to work. The tea guy knows our order by now and stops by twice a day.
