Chopra Craftorium

Our place is over in the M.I.A. Basni 2nd Phase, which is pretty much the industrial heart of the area. It’s a bit of a trek to get to Street No. 6, especially with all the heavy trucks and lorries moving around near the Jhamjham Construction Company. We call ourselves Chopra Craftorium, but if you actually walked in, you’d just see a bunch of regular people working with their hands. It’s at 6-A-1, a bit of a gray building that doesn't really look like much from the outside. Inside, though, there’s always something being made. We have heaps of raw materials piled up, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of shavings or scraps by noon. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but we’re busy making things all day long. The noise from the neighbors is constant, mostly heavy machinery, so we have to talk pretty loud to hear each other. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it at my desk because there aren't many good places to eat nearby unless you walk a long way. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big order that needs to be finished, and the street gets really quiet then. It’s a simple life, really. We make things, we pack them, and we send them off. My hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift, but that’s just how the work goes for us.
