Chandni Crafts

We operate out of C-11-B in the MIA 1st Phase area of Basni. It’s an industrial patch, so there’s a lot of dust and the sound of trucks moving through the lanes. We do craft work here, which is a bit different from the heavy factories nearby. Inside our space, it’s usually a mix of raw materials and finished pieces waiting to be packed. We work with our hands mostly, so there’s always some scraps on the floor or the smell of whatever finish we are using. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working shop. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of the time, we’re just busy making sure the items look right and that the orders are ready on time. The sun gets really bright out here in Basni, so we keep the doors half-shut sometimes to stay cool. We’ve got a small group of workers who’ve been with us for a bit. We don't talk much about visions or excellence. We just want to make stuff that people actually want to buy and use. Sometimes a piece doesn't come out right and we have to start over. That’s just part of the job. It’s a quiet, practical kind of business. We just do the work, pack it up, and send it out to whoever ordered it, and that’s usually enough to keep us going through the week.
