B.Modern Bakery is a local spot in Bilara. You can find us right near the Co-Operative Society. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the big cities, but Bilara has its own pace. We spend most of our time around the ovens. The smell of baking bread is usually what hits you first when you walk toward our shop. Being near the Co-Operative Society means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to do their errands. We aren't a big factory; it’s more of a local bakery where things are done by hand. We have our regulars who come in for their daily items. The name B.Modern Bakery might sound fancy, but we are a very simple setup. The counters are a bit worn out, and we have flour dust on almost everything. The work starts very early, usually while it's still dark out, so the bread is ready for the morning. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most people just know us because we’ve been here in Bilara for a while. We use basic tools and old recipes that work. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected, but that’s just how it goes with a small bakery. It’s just a few of us here making sure the local community has fresh stuff to eat every day. We just keep our heads down and keep the ovens running.
