Our shop, 209-B, is right inside the vegetable market near the Clock-Tower. If you’ve ever been here early in the morning, you know how loud and hectic it gets. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time. It's small, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most of our day is spent dealing with suppliers and people coming in and out of the market. There’s always the smell of fresh produce and the sound of carts rattling on the ground. It’s dusty and crowded, especially when the new crates arrive. We don’t have much time for fancy talk because there’s always something that needs to be moved or counted. Mohanlal Verhomal is just a local business trying to keep up with the daily rush. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the market floor a mess, but we just keep going. We know the other shop owners around the Clock-Tower pretty well. It’s a community of people who work hard. We handle our stock carefully because that’s what matters in this trade. You won't find anything polished here, just a lot of crates and a desk covered in ledgers. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan going. This is just how we live and work every single day. There isn't much more to it than that. We just focus on the vegetables and the people.
