You can find us at B-8, right in the Main Mandi on Mandore Road. Being in the Mandi means our day starts much earlier than most people in the city. By the time the sun is fully up, we have already been at it for hours. The air around here is always full of dust and the sound of loaders shouting to each other across the lot. Our office is a simple one, built to be sturdy rather than pretty. We have a few wooden chairs and a big table where we sit down with traders and talk shop. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of old coolers that stay on until we leave. People come and go all day, mostly talking about prices and what is coming in on the trucks. We have been part of this Mandore Road scene for a long time, so we know most of the faces around. There is no such thing as a quiet day here, and we like it that way. The floor is usually a bit dirty from all the foot traffic, but that is just how it is in a place like this. We do not spend money on fancy signs or marketing stuff. We just stay at our spot and handle the business as it comes. It is a rough and ready kind of life, but it suits us just fine. We just keep our heads down and work.
