Surendra Brass Industries

Surendra Brass Industries is located in Jamnagar, specifically at C-2/330 in GIDC-1, Shankar Tekri, Udyognagar. Jamnagar is famous for brass, so we fit right in with the local scene. Our workshop is always filled with the sound of grinding and the smell of hot metal. It’s a busy place. We don't have a lot of room to spare, so everything is packed in pretty tight. We’ve got our lathes and machines set up, and there’s usually a pile of brass shavings on the floor by noon. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, getting our hands dirty. Shankar Tekri is a crowded area, so getting trucks in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. You have to know the narrow roads well. We’ve been part of this community for quite a while. We know our neighbors and we often help each other out with tools or advice. The work is steady, and we just keep our heads down and get it done. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website or a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people knowing where we are and what we do. The 1st Phase of the GIDC is where all the action is for brass, and we are right there in the middle of it. It’s a lot of hard work, but it keeps us busy every day.
