Ashwin Brass Products

Our place is located at Plot No. 753/2 in Phase 2, right by the bypass in Dared. It’s a busy industrial zone. Ashwin Brass Products is basically a small factory where we make various brass items. It gets quite loud inside when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout to be heard. The air always has that metallic smell to it. We aren't a huge operation. It’s just a handful of us making sure the machines are fed and the parts are coming out right. We don't really have a sales team or a marketing department. Most of our work comes from long-time contacts or people who know our location. The bypass road is always full of trucks, which makes getting our materials in and out pretty easy. We spend most of our time on the shop floor rather than in the office. The office is really just a desk in the corner with a computer that we use for billing. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but we’re still here. It’s hard work, and the heat from the forge can be a lot in the summer, but it’s what we do. We just keep our heads down and keep the production going. It’s a lot of metal and noise every single day. We don't worry about being fancy. We just focus on the machines and getting the orders packed into boxes for the morning pickup. Usually, we are tired by the end.
