Bajrang Brass Industries

Jamnagar is famous for brass, and we are right in the thick of it at Shankar Tekri. Our workshop is on Udyog Road, specifically at 1 Bholenath Panakhan. If you walk down this street, you’ll hear the sound of hammers and machines from every building. At Bajrang Brass Industries, it’s always warm because of the work we do. There’s a constant smell of hot metal and grease in the air. We aren't big on decorations here; the walls are mostly covered in tools and old calendars. Most of us have been working with brass for years, so it’s second nature by now. The floor is usually covered in shavings that need to be swept up at the end of the shift. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the work going on inside. Usually, we are busy with orders and trying to keep the machines from breaking down. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet for hours. Sometimes the heat in Jamnagar gets really bad, and we have to take more breaks for water. We just focus on getting the pieces right and meeting the deadlines we have. It’s a gritty, honest kind of job. People stop by to drop off materials or pick up finished goods throughout the day. It’s just how things go in the Udyognagar area. We keep things moving as best as we can every day.
