Brijesh Enterprise

Our little spot is right in the middle of the Grain Market over in Khand Bazar. Brijesh Enterprise has been a fixture in this market for many years now. If you’ve ever walked through Khand Bazar, you know how packed it gets with the carts, trucks, and people shouting. We deal mostly with bulk goods coming in and going back out to other shops. There is a lot of paperwork to keep track of and plenty of time spent talking to suppliers on the phone. The office is small and usually has bags of samples piled up near the desk. We don’t really have a strict routine because every day depends on what the market is doing. Some mornings are completely frantic with everyone trying to load their goods at the same time. We know all the other traders around here and we help each other out when we can. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the trucks to arrive. Brijesh Enterprise isn't some big corporate chain. It's just a few of us trying to keep the accounts right and the customers coming back. Sometimes the power goes out in the market and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. The market is always loud and dusty, but it feels right to be here. We handle different grains and other stuff. We just try to be fair and do things the old-fashioned way. It's busy but we like it.
