If you walk past during the day, you will hear teachers talking and the sound of pages turning. It is a high school, so the students are a bit older and sometimes they get a bit louder too. We have these hallways that stay cool even when the sun is beating down outside. The benches in the courtyard are where the kids sit to eat their lunch. Sometimes they leave a bit of a mess, but we get it cleaned up. It is a busy place with a lot of movement. We do not go for anything too modern or high-tech, just the standard blackboards and sturdy chairs. Everyone knows the way to the school since it is a local landmark of sorts for the people living nearby. We have our sports days and local events that bring the parents in to watch. It is nice to see former students stop by to say hello to their old teachers. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of notebooks waiting to be checked. It is just a regular part of life here in Jamnagar. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a school where people come to learn and grow up together before moving on to college.
