Delta Madhyamik Shala

The school is located in Dhrol, right near the Tolnaka in Jamnagar. It’s a spot most people pass by when they are heading out of town. We have the usual classrooms with the big blackboards and desks that have seen a lot of students over the years. In the mornings, you can see kids walking or riding their cycles down the road to get here before the bell rings. The playground is just a big open space where they play cricket or run around during the breaks. It gets quite dusty when the wind blows through this part of Gujarat. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name on the front. The teachers spend their time checking notebooks in the small staff room near the entrance. Sometimes the goats from the nearby fields wander a bit too close to the fence. Life in Jamnagar moves at its own pace and our school is the same way. We have the standard science lab and a room with a few computers that the older students use. During the monsoon, the ground gets a bit muddy but the kids don't seem to mind much. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams are conducted on time. It is a local place for local families and most of the staff lives just a few streets away.
