You can find Shri Sharda Mandir High School at number 10, right on Limda Lane here in Jamnagar. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always something happening on the street outside. Being on Limda Lane means we’re right in the heart of things. The school itself is an older building, but it’s sturdy and has plenty of history. We’ve had a lot of students pass through these doors over the years. Some of the current teachers were actually students here themselves once upon a time. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you aren’t used to it, with different hallways leading to the various classrooms. We don’t have a massive campus, but we use every bit of space we have. The mornings are always the loudest, with everyone arriving at once. After that, it settles down into a rhythm of bells and shuffling feet. We deal with the usual stuff schools deal with—broken desks, lost lunchboxes, and keeping the floors clean. Jamnagar is a nice place to be, and being in this specific lane makes us feel connected to the local shops and houses nearby. It’s just a regular high school. We open the doors in the morning and close them in the evening. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't try to be something we aren't, just a place for learning in the middle of town. We just keep the routine going.
