Shri N N Santoki Sarvajanik Kanya Vidyalaya

In Jam Jodhpur, specifically at number 65, is where Shri N N Santoki Sarvajanik Kanya Vidyalaya is located. It is a school for girls, and it stays quite busy from morning until late afternoon. Jamnagar is a big district but Jam Jodhpur has its own unique feel. The school is a bit like a second home for a lot of the girls who study here. We have classrooms that are usually full of chatter until the teacher walks in. The walls are decorated with some student drawings and old charts that have been there for years. We do not have a lot of fancy technology, just the usual desks and boards. There is a courtyard where the girls gather for the morning assembly. It is a nice sight to see them all lined up in their uniforms. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many people coming and going, there is always some dust. The staff here are mostly local people who care about the town. We have meetings in the staff room over tea to talk about how things are going with the students. It is a practical place, focused on getting the daily work done. The girls come from all over the local area, some walking a long way to get here. We feel like a part of the community because we have been here so long.
