Shri L N Parmar Madhyamik Shala

Our school, Shri L N Parmar Madhyamik Shala, is located right on Station Road in Bhatia. Since we are in Jamnagar district, it’s a fairly busy area with people coming and going from the station. The school is a middle school where we teach the local kids. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. We have a few rooms for the different grades. Most of the noise around here comes from the trains and the traffic on the main road. The students get used to it after a while. We don't have a big fancy campus. It’s just the building and a small patch of ground. Every morning, the children line up for prayers before they head into their classrooms. The staff here is small. We all know each other’s names. We don't use much technology, mostly just chalk and talk. That’s how it’s always been done in Bhatia. The parents often stop by the gate to chat with us when they are heading to the market. It feels very much like a part of the local life. We try to keep the place clean and the kids focused on their work. It’s a simple life at the school. We aren't trying to be anything other than a decent place for children to learn their basic subjects before they grow up.
