Shri J M Goria U M School is right here in Ramnath Society in Jamnagar. It is not a very flashy building, but it does the job. Most of us here are busy from early morning when the buses start arriving. Jamkhambhalia district can get pretty warm, so we try to keep things moving before the afternoon heat really sets in. I have been here for a while now and seen a lot of kids grow up. Some of them come back later to say hello. The school is just a part of the local scene here. We have classrooms that have seen many years of students. It is mostly about the daily routine, you know. Teachers walking in with their bags, the bell ringing, and everyone settling down. We are located at number 36 in the society. Sometimes people get lost trying to find the exact gate because the streets look a bit similar, but everyone in the neighborhood knows where we are. It is a simple place where we try to get through the syllabus and make sure the building is kept in decent shape. There is always something to fix, like a leaky tap or a squeaky door. That is just how it is when you have hundreds of kids running around every day. We don't have fancy brochures. Just a school in Jamnagar doing its thing day after day for the families around here. It can be noisy, but it’s home.
