Shri Buddhisagar Vidhyalay

People in Jamnagar know where we are located. Shri Buddhisagar Vidhyalay has been around for quite a bit now. It’s a simple place with classrooms and a playground that gets pretty dusty in the summer heat. We open the gates early every morning and you can hear the kids running in before the first bell. It’s not a fancy building or anything, just brick and paint that needs a touch-up sometimes. The teachers here live nearby mostly, so everyone knows everyone. Parents drop off their children on scooters or they walk from the surrounding streets. We have old wooden desks that have seen a lot of students over the years. During the breaks, the noise is something else, just children being children and playing around. We try to keep things organized but with so many kids, it is always a bit chaotic, which is fine for a school. It feels like a big family most days. We do not have big flashy signs, just the name written on the wall. The morning prayer is a nice time when it gets quiet for a minute or two. Then it’s back to lessons and chalk dust. Jamnagar is our home and this school is just part of the neighborhood. We make sure the water coolers are full and the fans are working when it gets hot. It is just a normal school doing what schools do every day for the community.
