Shreyas High School

Shreyas High School is located right in Patel Colony, over at number 9/10. Jamnagar is a busy place, but our little corner in the colony stays relatively calm most of the time. We’ve been operating out of this building for years. Most of the neighbors know us because of the noise during recess. It’s a standard school building, nothing too flashy. We have the main entrance where parents drop off their kids in the morning. Usually, there’s a bit of a traffic jam around 8:00 AM, but it clears up fast once the bell rings. The rooms are basic but they work for what we need. We spend most of our day keeping things running, from fixing a leaky tap to making sure the chalk supplies are full. Jamnagar weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got decent shade in the courtyard. The staff here has been together for a long time. We know the local families well since their kids have been coming here for generations. It feels like a small community inside Patel Colony. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just find us through word of mouth or because they live just a couple of streets away. It’s a practical place. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the students are where they need to be. It’s just a normal school day, every day. Nothing more, nothing less. We just open the doors and get on with the day.
