Shree Navchetan Scinece School

Shree Navchetan Scinece School is right there on the Porbandar Highway. Being in Khambhalia, specifically at the 361305 location, means we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day long. The noise from the highway is just something we have all gotten used to over the years. Our school focuses a lot on the older students who are interested in science subjects. The labs have benches with sinks and some old equipment that we have taken care of for a long time. It smells a bit like chemicals and old paper in those rooms. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the upcoming exams or the local news. The courtyard is paved with stone, so it gets very hot in the middle of the day. Most students come from the surrounding villages and towns, arriving on the blue buses that stop right outside. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in through the main doors and you are right in the middle of things. The walls have some posters about biology and physics that have been there since I can remember. It is a straightforward place. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local school for kids who want to study hard. The gatekeeper knows everyone by sight, which helps keep things feeling like a small community despite being on a busy road.
