Darbargadh is an old area in Dhrol, and that’s where you’ll find us at number 45. Shree M D Mehta Girls High School has been a part of this Jamnagar neighborhood for quite some time. When the morning bell rings, you can see the students walking through the Darbargadh gates. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and heavy doors that show their age. We don't have much in the way of modern glass and steel, but the school is solid. The classrooms are filled with wooden benches that have seen many years of use. In the afternoons, the sun hits the courtyard and things get pretty quiet until the girls leave for the day. Living and working in a place like Dhrol means everyone knows where the school is.
