If you’re looking for Plot No. 3068 in GIDC Phase-3, you have to look right behind Mahaveer Metal. It’s easy to get lost in Dared because all the buildings look the same after a while. At Nishant Machine Tools, we’ve got a shop floor that is always full of steel shavings and the smell of cutting oil. It’s a noisy place, and you have to shout if you want to be heard over the grinders. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. Usually, we just talk over a cup of chai in the corner of the workshop. We make parts that other factories need to keep their own machines running. It’s precise work, and if you mess up by even a tiny bit, the whole thing is junk. That’s why we spend so much time double-checking everything. The guys who work here are local and we’ve been together for years. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules; we just know what needs to be done and we do it. The summer heat in the GIDC is pretty intense, but we just keep the doors open and get on with it. It’s a basic life, making things out of metal and making sure they work. Most of our customers are other shop owners from around the area who just need a part fixed fast.
