Mechtek Metal is situated in the Dared GIDC area of Jamnagar. This part of Jamnagar is famous for its metalwork, and we are right in the thick of it all. Our workshop is a place where we handle different kinds of metal parts every day. It smells like oil and iron most of the time you walk in. Lobbies or air-conditioned meeting rooms don't exist here. Usually, we just meet people right on the shop floor or near the front entrance. The machines hum all day long. We’ve got a group of workers who have been with us for years and know the routine. Following a strict corporate manual isn't our style. We just know what needs to be done each morning and we go ahead and do it. Sometimes the shipments are late or the power goes out, but we just deal with those headaches as they happen. We’re not looking to become a giant company; we just like having a steady stream of work to keep everyone busy and paid. People in Dared know we’re here if they need something made or repaired for their machines. Marketing isn't something we use because the work usually speaks for itself. Keeping the gates open and keeping the tools moving is the plan. It is a simple, hardworking life here in the industrial zone.
