Our place is in the G.I.D.C. area of Sankar Tekari, specifically at number 361-12-500. It’s easy to find because we are right opposite Vinayak Cold Storage and close to Applied Machine Tools. Working with brass is what we do every day. The smell of the metal and the heat from the melting process are things we don’t even notice anymore. It’s a tough environment, but we’ve been doing it for years. The workshop is usually busy with the sound of grinding and polishing. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures. We just rely on the quality of the brass pieces we turn out. Sometimes the supply of raw materials is a bit unpredictable, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't a big corporation with layers of management. If you have a question, you just talk to the person holding the tools. We take pride in the fact that we handle the work ourselves from start to finish. The industrial estate is a noisy, busy place, but it’s where we belong. We just keep our heads down and focus on the brass. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us going. There's always a lot to do, and the days go by fast when you're busy at the bench. We just like making things that last and doing it right.
